Willpower and Health

I sent out an APB on my Willpower . . . it seems to have fled at the first mention of "diet."  *curses*

I got my blood work back from the doc.  I have high cholesterol . . . specifically, high triglycerides.  Great.  Doc said I needed to lose weight and tone up.  GAH!  I felt so defensive, I just had a baby!  But I AM 15lbs heavier than my pre-baby weight at this point.  Still . . . *grumbles*  I think this falls into the category of "things you are hypersensitive and defensive about because you know you need to change them."  I hate that mental category but yet it persists.  So essentially, I need to lose weight and cut sugar out of my diet.  Such a simply phrased sentence . . so, deceptively simple.  But I challenge you - open your cupboard or examine your daily diet and tell me if you could cute sugar completely out of your diet.  I think to myself, okay, no morning coffee 'cause my morning coffee is drank as such:  Yummy creamer with a dash of strong coffee, and no cereal because even if it is Kashi it still has sugar in it.  No turkey bacon and eggs because I'm not supposed to have more than 2 egg yolks a WEEK.  No bagel with yogurt because well . . . you get the picture.  What the frick DO I get to eat?!  I'm sure if I had a nutritionist at my disposal this complaint would be moot, but alas, I don't.  Where is my Gillian McKeith?!  *pout pout*

I'll survive.  I'll figure something out.  And damnit I'll lose weight!

Next topic . . .

My precious kid's head is so mishapen his pediatrician wanted to pua HELMET on him.  I almost cried.  I think Dr. Sunday saw me start to panic with my eyes because she decided to get a second opinion.  Voila!  No helmet.  In fact, Dr. Tran (who saw Ethan after he was delivered) said that it wasn't abnormal, just positional flattening and she sees it get worse around 4 months before it gets better *whew*  Dodged that bullet.

The alpacas are sunning themselves and now pooping more outside!  Yay?  We had to separate the little boys as apparently they couldn't control their little hormones and were mounting our open girls *sigh*  They have been confined to the big boy's side of the barn in a closed off room for their protection.  I'm hoping that if the big boys recognize the little boys are on their turf and get used to the idea, the initial beat down that will occur upon their immersion won't be so brutal.  We shall see.  But the "release of the little boys will still be supervises.  I have nightmares of Jack trying to run through the electric fence to get to his mother.

Oh and on a last note - my beloved Dyson vacuum seems to have died . . .

So yea, let me know if you see my Willpower?  I need it back . . .
